THE GALLERY UPHOLSTERED DINING CHAIR

This month, we have chosen this glamorous and sophisticated piece from the Blue Isle collection. The ‘Gallery’ dining chair is upholstered in a smart and classic dark grey linen with the added detail of nickel studs to the front and rear. What really makes this piece stand out though, is the exciting ‘wings’ at the top of the chair. These add a little touch of style and actually make for a more comfortable seat.
The legs, as with many of our Blue Isle products are made entirely of weathered oak, the modern take on classic solid oak. The soft muted tones of the wood mean you don’t get the discolouration or fading associated with classic oak. It’s therefore, longer lasting and much easier to take care of. This softer colour also makes it easier to style with a range of décors, from more traditional interiors to contemporary coastal styles.
In the images above, you can see it fits well as a set of dining chairs around a large a table, perfect for Christmas dinner or those family get-togethers. However, we think it is equally at home as a desk chair, teamed below with a classic Beau-monde desk. If you have some rather elegant, traditional furniture in your home, the last thing you want it to have a standard office chair beside it. So, we think the ‘Gallery’ chair offers a much smarter alternative.
